The 11th Dubrovnik Winter Festival has offered Dubrovnik residents and guests more content than ever before in numerous locations, both those they have become accustomed to in previous years, and numerous new magical posts that have left visitors young and old breathless. Santa Claus from Lapland and Saint Nicholas visited numerous locations, cheerful songs and joyful noises have been heard in every corner of the City in the past few days, and it will be no different this weekend and in the final week of the Dubrovnik Winter Festival that is ahead of you!
Saturday, December 28th, continues with educational tourist-themed guided tours of the City, in Croatian and English, organized by the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. Free tours will depart on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. (English) and at 12:30 p.m. (Croatian) in front of the TIC in Pile. Saturday morning in the City will be rounded off by a folklore group with a performance in front of the Church of St. Blaise.
The colorful winter in the Bay continues at 11 a.m. with the workshop "Holidays inspired by nature" led by the Audiovisual Center Ubrovnik (café Esperanza). From 12 p.m., the Our Children Dubrovnik Society is organizing a program called "Family - another name for love" (Promenade in Lapad Bay), at 1 p.m. on the beach in Lapad Bay, the Hydro Sailing Club is organizing a remote-controlled sailboat regatta. The Rock Palace Band will entertain all visitors to Lapad Bay at 2 p.m. (stage by the fountain), and at the same time a Christmas creative workshop will be held led by the Our Children Dubrovnik Society (café Esperanza).
The program "In anticipation of Christmas in Mokošica" continues, which this weekend brings various activities for the youngest in the parish of the Holy Family. The Futura Association and the Technical Culture Society of the City of Dubrovnik are organizing a workshop for children at 3 p.m. called "Lighting Christmas Cards", and at 4 p.m. a workshop for children called "Making Christmas Decorations with a 3D Pen". The story-telling and art workshop "Joy of the World" will be held at 5 p.m..
At the Marin Držić Theater on the Main Stage at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., a play for children directed by Paolo Tišljarić called "The Nutcracker" will be performed. At 7 p.m., a concert from the "Piano & Strings" cycle will be held at Saloča od zrcala, featuring Marija Grazio and the Sorgo Ensemble.
"Good Evening Friends" is a concert program dedicated to the exceptional Dubrovnik musician, Milo Hrnić, which starts at 9 p.m. on Stradun. Some of the most beautiful songs that Dubrovnik remembers will be sung by Dražen Zečić, Tedi Spalato, Nevio Končić, Alen Nižetić, Iva Ajduković Marović, Anđela Zelić, Bruna Oberan, Klapa Kaše, Klapa Ragusavecchia and Klapa Subrenum.
Sunday, December 29th, will start at 3 p.m. with the humanitarian five-a-side football tournament "Dubrovnik Prestige" in the Gospino Polje sports hall, with part of the proceeds going to the Maslinu home. At 6 p.m., the Luka Sorkočević Art School will host the Sorgo Music Workshop - "Studeni Festival": GR Sorgo Publishing, featuring GR Sorgo musicians. As part of the program Waiting for Christmas in Mokošica at 7 p.m., the Holy Family Parish will celebrate the feast of the Holy Family with a performance by the Ragusavecchia Klapa, while at the same time, the Dubrovnik City Music Hall will host the "Christmas Concert". At 8 p.m., Matko and Brane will sing in front of the student dormitory, while at 9 p.m., Sergej Ćetković will take to the big stage on Stradun.
Monday, December 30th is reserved for a story time and a Christmas decoration workshop with letter writing "Joy of Christmas" at 6 p.m. in the Lapad branch of the Dubrovnik libraries. Starting at 8 p.m., as part of the Advent program on Vojnović, Giuliano, Diktatori and Maja Bajamić will perform in front of the student dormitory, while at 9 p.m., the audience on Stradun will be entertained by the fantastic young vocalist Matija Cvek.
Tuesday, December 31st, the festivities begin at 11 a.m. when a children's New Year's Eve party will be held on Stradun, and the little ones will be entertained by the Ante Gelo band with Bruno Oberan and Iva Ajduković Marović. At 12 p.m. on New Year's Eve, members of FA Linđo and the Libertas choir will perform a carol around the city, and also from 12 p.m. New Year's cocktails prepared by Dubrovnik bartenders on Stradun will be prepared! Club Lazareti is organizing a New Year's Eve party starting at 10 p.m. under the name GATE 2025. The spectacular evening program is reserved from 9 p.m. for Tony Cetinski, and from 10 p.m. until the stroke of midnight, a champagne toast and the entry into the New Year 2025 - the audience will be entertained by the famous Italian rock musician Adelmo Fornaciari - better known as Zucchero!
Wednesday, January 1st is traditionally reserved for the New Year's concert of the Dubrovnik Symphony Orchestra on Stradun, at 12 p.m.. Conductor Veton Marevci will conduct with soloists Kristina Kolar (soprano) and Konstantin Rittel Kobylianski (baritone). The evening program will also be on the big stage on Stradun next to Rišpet from 9 p.m..
Thursday, January 2nd, most of the daily programs of the 11th Dubrovnik Winter Festival are moving to TIP TOP Tup, which has become a gathering place for children and young people in the urban district of Gruž for the winter holidays! The Futura Association and the Technical Culture Association of the City of Dubrovnik are organizing the workshop "Logical Builder" from 3 p.m. in the premises of TUP Pakirnica. The storytelling and workshop "Donkey Goes to Bethlehem" & "Grandma": A Folk Tale will be held at 4 p.m. under the leadership of the cultural association "Aster" (TUP CDMO - above Love Bar). At 5 p.m. in the premises of the TUP Plastic Recycling Center, Maritimo Recycling and the Technical Culture Association of the City of Dubrovnik are organizing a workshop for the youngest: Plastic Recycling.

At 11 a.m., as part of the Colorful Winter in Lapad Bay program, there will be a photo exhibition titled "Colorful Winter in the Bay" by the Dubrovnik Audiovisual Center (Esperanza Café). Dubrovnik libraries in the branch of the City Public Library are organizing a "Winter Fairy Tales" storytime at 11 a.m.. The program In anticipation of the program in Mokošica closes its year-end program with a charity concert starting at 7:30 p.m. in the Church of the Holy Savior. The concert will feature a children's choir and an adult choir from the Holy Savior parish, accompanied by the Mokoški kolendar and the "Amfora" klapa.
In order to make it as easy as possible for as many people as possible to attend all programs of the Dubrovnik Winter Festival, the city administration has provided all citizens and guests with free transportation on Libertas buses on city lines in the afternoon and at night. Also, the price of the DU Pass, a joint ticket to the most important Dubrovnik attractions, has been reduced from 35 to just 15 euros, and the price of the ticket to the city walls has also been reduced.
The City of Dubrovnik, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board and the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, in cooperation with cultural institutions and public companies, are preparing a wide range of events for citizens and visitors of all ages. This year's 11th Dubrovnik Winter Festival awaits you in all its glory!
